We are a locally owned and operated business providing professional gardening and home solutions across Melbourne. We handle the full range of property care work that homeowners and property managers need done but often don’t have the time, tools, or expertise to manage themselves. Our operation is straightforward: we turn up prepared, we complete the job to a professional standard, and we make sure the property is left in better condition than when we arrived. There are no layers of corporate overhead or complicated processes — just direct communication and reliable results from a team that treats every site with the care it requires.

About Us

We started with hands-on gardening and property maintenance work in 2016, looking after residential properties and outdoor spaces across Melbourne.

In 2023 this grew into a small independent operation called Black Cat Gardens, providing gardening and outdoor maintenance services to local clients.

​

In mid-2025 the business became JB Property Care. This gave us a broader focus on complete exterior property maintenance. We can now help with gardening, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and general property upkeep.

The core approach has stayed the same — practical, reliable work carried out with proper attention to detail.

We maintain a complete set of professional equipment that allows us to handle everything from standard gardening tasks through to more involved work such as gutter cleaning, pressure cleaning, and jobs requiring work at height. All tools are serviced, tested, and ready for use, including chainsaws, hedge trimmers, vacuums, and safety gear. We do not rely on borrowed or inadequate equipment. If a job requires something outside our standard setup, we advise you upfront and make the necessary arrangements so the work can still proceed correctly and safely.
